Danny's professional experience began in a traditional Kosher Jewish catering hall on Long Island. By age 20, Danny had moved up to Executive chef at a beach-front Hampton's Resort. Danny received his formal education at the renowned Johnson and Wales Culinary School in Providence, Rhode Island, and via a fellowship to the Montreaux Hotel School in Switzerland. Upon graduation from J&W with a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, Danny headed-up the Presentation Dining Group offered exclusively to the high-end clients of Grey Advertising in Manhattan.

Danny relocated from NY to LA to work at the prestigious Beverly Hills eatery, The Grill on the Alley. This put Danny on the ground floor of a tremendous opportunity…the launch of The Daily Grill chain. As Head Chef, he opened three Daily Grill locations, until he returned to The Grill on the Alley as Executive Chef, managing all aspects of the premiere restaurant.

After seven years with Grill Concepts, Danny ventured out on his own. He quickly became one of Beverly Hills' best kept secrets as the personal chef and private caterer for some of the entertainment industry's top names including Bruce & Patti Springsteen, Ari and Sarah Emanuel, former Chairman of 20th Century Fox and founder of Pandemonium Films, Bill Mechanic and CEO of NBC Jeff Zucker, to name just a few. He has catered events for the Royal Danish Consulate, the British Embassy, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Danny's exclusive Harold Catering has been the full-charge caterer for high-profile events such as Warner Brother's Records' Grammy Party, ABC's Golden Globe Event for 'Grey's Anatomy' and Designer Fall Fashion Release Parties for Hugo Boss and Zegna. Danny has appeared on multiple episodes of Lifetime's hit show "Operation Style", the USA Network's "Before and After'noon" and various DIY Network Food Specials.

Danny holds membership in the American Culinary Federation, the Chefs de Cuisines of Los Angeles and the Culinary Historians of Southern California. Being a father has only enhanced his avid support of Community Organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the St. Paul the Apostle PWC group and the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

And, at the end of his busy days, Danny still enjoys cooking at home for his wife and three children.
